Description of choices: The line is red because the colour is pre-attentive. I chose to highlight the peak in 2018 since it stands out. In order to keep the mobile version as clean and understandable as possible I chose not to add any other text annotations.
Description of choices: Blue was a fairly neutral colour. I changed the range of MW on the y-axis to 100 000 from 80 000 for clarity. It is a pity the x- and y-axis can't be added in datawrapper, that would add further clarity. Made the column chart as simple as possible since the mobile version easily becomes too messy otherwise. Chose 10 biggest producers of electricity because I found it interesting.
