- Work background:
- From 2012 to 2018 I worked various jobs in several countries. I moved countries several times and worked mostly as a waiter and bartender in restaurants, as well as an English teacher and construction laborer in London/United Kingdom, Barcelona/Spain, and Sydney/Australia.
- From 2018 to 2021 I worked as a healthcare assistant at Guy’s & St Thomas Hospital in London/United Kingdom where I worked during the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Nursing: From 2021 to 2023 I worked as a registered nurse at Guy’s & St Thomas Hospital in London/United Kingdom in the infectious diseases department and isolation units caring for patients with diseases such as Mpox, Tuberculosis, Meningitis, and various other infectious dermatological, pneumonic, rheumatoid and blood-related diseases. From 2023-24 I worked in the Accident and Emergency department caring for patients in acute trauma and emergency settings.
- Humanitarian work: As a nurse, I used my holidays for humanitarian medical missions with small organizations under the United Nations and the World Food Programme in Gaza (2024). I also volunteered as a medical nurse on humanitarian projects in Ghana, Senegal, Eastern Ukraine, and Calais/France.
