This article from The Guardian focuses on the link between poverty and heat in New York City. It intends to map which neighborhoods should the highest heat burden. Two visualisations of NYC seem to suggest a clear correlation between warmer neighborhoods and poverty.

I thought it was a good example as it easily superimposed areas of NYC where more than 25% of households live in poverty on top the city’s heat map. As a result it is easy to understand which problem the article tries to showcase and as a ready it is easy to understand. It isn’t too data heavy and straightforward.
