Academic background: I have a bachelor’s degree in journalism and media production after studying at Linnaeus university in Kalmar for three years.
Work background: I have worked at kiosks, as a teacher at different schools, in eldercare and at Forex Bank.
Journalistic experience: I worked at Borås Tidning for a short period and then worked at Hallands Nyheter for a little while. I am now a desk reporter at Mariestads-Tidningen, which I have been since 2022.
Writing skills (English): I have not been writing in English before, other than in high school.

Special interests/knowledge relevant to research/investigative journalism: I am interested in numbers and statistics, but also people’s stories. I enjoy pieces on the environment and the climate as well as politics.
Other skills/hobbies: I love to read, watch tv series, travel and spend time with my friends, family and pets. I am also a big fan of Harry Potter and Melodifestivalen.
